I was a virgin until I was 18 (partially out of choice, but partially not) and directly before I lost my virginity I had ceased caring about making my first important in any interpersonal sense. Happened to get lucky and have my first with someone who actually matters, but I still think it took an apathetic attitude toward sex to get me laid at all.
